I'm sorry not to respond sooner, my parents were here visiting and we've been traveling around with them. Varian remembered you and says hello as well and it was fun showing him your post. Thanks for your sweet thoughts!Leah Astonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17289759444005063810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8506272011072621034.post-25876041112773833862013-04-03T05:09:13.540-07:002013-04-03T05:09:13.540-07:00I know Chris I should have requested a change. I hope to have a ton more so I'll have to be more assertive for sure!Leah Astonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17289759444005063810noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8506272011072621034.post-84884066054686100472013-03-25T13:50:47.340-07:002013-03-25T13:50:47.340-07:00Wow, Leah. (Another thing, if I had been going through what you had to with the insertion of that epidural, I'd have told them after the first ten minutes that I wanted someone else to be the guinea pig for this fellow! It would seem to me that you should be able to make a change if things are not going well!)
D1Warblerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08510791618054567601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8506272011072621034.post-58736211999803202382013-02-24T06:58:59.394-08:002013-02-24T06:58:59.394-08:00Hi! It's been a lot of fun to see pictures of your darling family and learn about your adventures in Australia.
I just wanted to comment on this post. I love reading birth stories. I cannot believe you had to endure waiting 45 min for the epidural! What the heck?! This last time, mine took what felt like forever because it was in between contractions, but I'm sure it was no where near that long! Also, I think it's kind of silly they won't let dads watch. I get it, but still. And I am so sorry you had to feel anything at all! That sounds completely traumatic! I'm glad you opted to be put under. Although, the tiredness afterward does suck. As if you won't already be totally exhausted and sleep deprived! Oh, and I totally get the hair and makeup thing. With my first I was doing my hair with contractions close together and my husband was so frustrated we weren't out the door to the hospital. ;) Anyway, so glad Reid made it here safely. Thanks for sharing your story. And sorry for the novel. Tell Varian hello for me! (And just so you know I'm not a crazy person...www.milesandkendra.blogspot.com)Kendrahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17076949306429728667noreply@blogger.com
