I Can't Get Enough So Niether Will You...(Aug '11)

 

I know we've had lots of posts with baby pictures, and to be fairly warned, this too is one of them. Let me wrap up August 2011 with a few shots of family, but mostly just my two cute sons!

Happy Birthday Beep-Beep and oh my heavens look at this cute face...and look at it again and again. :)

Let me break up some pictures of Reid's adorable face (I promise this is the narrowed down version) with some of Jaren's. :)

A nice day outside in the sun.

I love having trees in my back yard, I love the life - the nature - the beauty of them. I love the shade. I don't so much love how much these gum trees shed (ALL over our lawn) or the potential threat they have of falling over, but I do love them.

 

 

Lots of nice slobber from Jaren, not a new thing for anyone who knows him. Below is the result of practicing the piano. Reid snoozed away happily, and Jaren was hysterical at my diverted attention. Hmm...I'm having flashbacks to my violin practicing post (click HERE).

Beach Day - Aug 2011

A cool winter's day hanging out at the Gold Coast.

I think Baby Reid slept through all the excitement.

Varian and Jaren had fun playing in the sand.

Or eating it. (I think the 2nd picture is him in time-out because he wouldn't stop eating sand.)

 

I didn't get pictures of it, but a bus of Asian tourists arrived and came over to take pictures of themselves, the beach, Jaren...themselves holding Jaren. Asians love our kids and have no scruples coming over and picking them right up. They were excited when Reid woke up and they could watch two adorable babies. :) It was a lovely day. 

ECOSWAY's Grand Opening Aug 2011

My Mother-in-Law Michaela, and her cousin Gabriela opened their own eCosway store in Toombul Shopping Center. They had done a lot of network marketing and work to get to this point and we were excited to come to their grand opening and see their beautiful store.



This company is based out of Malaysia and is more dominant in Asian cultures, and I believe Michaela and Garby were the first Westerners to open up a store. They sold a variety of things from health food to dishes to toys to bras. But it was all very natural and good for you. :)



We have loved the products they've given us over the years and are so proud of all their work. 



Here she is, the lady-of-the-hour herself, ringing in the first store purchase.

This year (2013) sadly, they did make the decision to close down the shop and move on to other business pursuits, but I think they really enjoyed it, and they put countless hours of love and sweat into this store! Here are some other shots of the grand opening day.



ps: The shop itself is still open in Toombul, but if you go on by you'll see a nice Asian man sitting there instead of the smiling faces of Michaela and Garby.
